John David Barr, Chartered Financial Analyst

John David Barr has over eight years of experience in trust, investments and banking and serves as the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Wealth Management Division. He leads the Portfolio Management Team in assessing current economic conditions and establishing investment strategy, including asset allocation and security selection.

He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, with bachelor’s degrees in Banking and Finance and Managerial Finance, and received his Master of Arts degree from the University of Alabama in Applied Economics. He is also a graduate of the Southern Trust School at the University of South Alabama.

In 2012 John David earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst designation, which places him in the top tier of investment professionals worldwide.
