Jennifer Ferguson

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in the area of trust and investment services and leads our Trust Operations Team.  She is responsible for the administration of our Trust Accounting Software and other vendors for our department.  She manages the department’s 1031 Qualified Intermediary Exchange Escrows (Like-Kinds Exchanges).  She also oversees the compliance of the department and the trusts financial and natural resource assets.  Additionally, she has an extensive knowledge of Individual Retirement Account (IRA) compliance and conducts IRA training for all bank employees.

 She is a graduate of East Central Community College with an associate’s degree in Accounting and attended Mississippi State University.  Jennifer has successfully completed the 3 year American Bankers Association (ABA) Certificate in Trust program.

Jennifer is currently serving as vice-president on the Newton Theatre Company board.
